Social software solutions are increasingly gaining importance in the professional context. Their use leads to the formation of internal company communities that undergo a lifecycle consisting of phases with different characteristics. The dissertation provides a model to determine the phase of such a community. Based on this, recommendations for action are provided for lifecycle-oriented management to maximize the business value of the community.
