The workbook contains exercises from the areas of taxation, external effects, public goods, natural monopoly, federalism, and public debt. Its application-oriented selection of topics distinguishes it from workbooks on micro and macroeconomics. However, the questions are analyzed using precisely formulated models, just as in microeconomics. The tasks have mostly been tested in exercises from undergraduate and graduate studies. Based on the experiences made here, a detailed solution is presented for each task. This provides the reader with the tools to practice fiscal argumentation and the application of economic theoretical methods.
