Product details

Willi F. Ramersdorfer (1922-2010) is considered one of the most successful architects from Vorarlberg in the post-war period. Together with German Meusburger, he began realizing his concepts of modern architecture in 1951. This led to the creation of numerous industrial and commercial buildings, schools, churches, and residential houses, as well as SOS children's villages. After Meusburger's death in 1973, Ramersdorfer continued the studio alone and with great success. His focus shifted to the construction of hotels—particularly in the Austrian Alps and abroad—and single-family homes, where he explored new avenues of architectural expression. This first monograph on Ramersdorfer's work documents his extensive oeuvre and presents his most important buildings with historical plans and images, along with texts by renowned authors. A new photo essay by photographer Marc Lins portrays the house.
