More than 400 buildings, 27 of which are newly recorded, showcase Munich's architectural history from the Middle Ages to the beginning of the new millennium. Each building is presented with informative text and documented in up-to-date photos and floor plans. The selection of new objects includes the Jewish Community Centre, Museum Brandhorst Collection, extension of the Academy of Fine Arts, and Munich skyscrapers. Highlights include Uptown Munich, HighLight Business Towers, the office building at Münchner Tor, BMW World, House of Architecture, and Messestadt-Riem. Other notable sites are the Church Center Riem, House of the Present, Bauzentrum, residential development Ackermannbogen, Swiss Re Germany AG, and Allianz Arena. The documentation includes site plans, Schnellbahnnetz, architects' regulations, construction regulations, historical regulations, and object regulations.
