The "Historical-Critical Dictionary of Marxism" (HKWM) involves more than a thousand researchers from around the world. Many of the entries stem from the politically-theoretical lexicon of the present, such as climate policy, cloning, and the headscarf debate, addressing developments of the scientific-technical revolution like high-tech industry, artificial intelligence, and information rent; they explore lexical new territory with historical forms of individuality such as housewife or being a Marxist, and overall, the dictionary presents itself as an Ark of keywords, where centuries-old knowledge of liberation is condensed with critiques of power, all in a constant struggle for understanding to enable political action in contemporary contexts. The HKWM is structured into 15 volumes with a total of over 1500 keyword articles.
