In "ZwischenSaison," photographer Simon Walther explores the heavily impacted sides of the Swiss Alps, including tourist destinations and winter sports areas. The focus is on Walther's homeland, Toggenburg and the Alpstein, as well as the Engadin. Additionally, there are images from Oberhalbstein, Central Switzerland, the Bernese Oberland, Valais, and Ticino. Walther primarily traveled to these regions between March and June, capturing the unique atmosphere of the touristically underutilized shoulder season. These often surprising, winking, and poetic images are complemented by impressive, large-format landscape panoramas that reflect the moods of the seasonal transition in nature.
