Product details

The treatment of human-made psychological traumas (so-called man-made disasters) as well as dissociative disorders is a highly relevant topic in modern psychotherapy. So far, there are few multidimensional therapy models, such as the SPIM 30 (Somatic-Psychological-Interactive Model for Complex Trauma Survivors in Standard Version 30) presented in this volume. Since 2000, this psychotraumatological treatment model for dissociative disorders has been accompanied by research studies in the author's Leipzig practice and taught in further education. SPIM 30 fundamentally reintroduces the body into psychoanalytic treatment, as every psychological trauma is deeply rooted there. Gestalt and behavioral therapeutic methods are also essential in SPIM 30 for addressing traumatic attachment and relationship disorders.
