Aspekte neu, the German textbook for the intermediate level, is aimed at learners who want to deepen their knowledge of German from level B1 and leads safely to level C1. Interesting topics and texts as well as the targeted training of skills support the learning process. Aspekte neu has been developed on the basis of the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and with the help of the optional descriptions from profiles German. Volume 2 (B2) facilitates the transition to level C1. A central point is learner orientation, the inclusion of areas of life and situations in which learners encounter and act in the German language, and the promotion of autonomous learning. The selection of topics, types of texts and language actions in the chapters and the grammar, means of expression and vocabulary as well as the mistakes derived from them was based on this.
