The competency-oriented approach to diagnosis, learning objective definition, and assessment is an increasingly challenging area of work that constitutes about a third of every teacher's existence and accompanies educators in teaching as well as in preparation and follow-up. This book aims to contribute to the professionalization in this central field of responsibility by highlighting the changes that arise due to educational standards at all levels of the school system. In line with competency-oriented foreign language teaching, the assessment and evaluation by the teacher should also take place, for which this book has been created with advice and practical examples.
