The Christmas rose has played a significant role among the most important physicians in the medical history of the West. Even Hippocrates, and more so Paracelsus and Samuel Hahnemann, praised its effects. Recently, it has suddenly come back into the spotlight, as it seems to prove particularly effective in clinical cell studies and also at the bedside for serious illnesses of the new millennium, including in geriatric medicine, Alzheimer’s, strokes, and also in severe cancer conditions, which often require the Christmas rose according to anthroposophical medicine. A second focus of application is on attention disorders in children such as ADD and ADHD, as well as generally on brain maturation disorders. Against the backdrop of medical history, the book documents the significant role of the Christmas rose with numerous case studies.
