7 Stories from the Road: In this book, people are on their journeys, seeking a home or shared experiences. Whether it's a man longing for a home alongside a comrade he knows from Brazil, only to ultimately move on, or in the first and longest story, someone who had to follow his parents to South Africa because his grandfather was entangled in Germany's criminal past, or couples searching for security in shared experiences, or Lohmeyer in the last story missing the sense of togetherness: sometimes they find this connection, but not always.
