When successful businessman and family man Ted McKay learns that he is terminally ill, he decides to take his own life. However, on the day Ted has chosen for his suicide, he receives an unexpected visit from a stranger. The man asks him to commit murder – and promises to help Ted with his suicide in return and to take care of Ted's family afterward. As Ted agrees and drives to the man he is supposed to kill, he is overcome by a strange sense of déjà vu. He realizes that his client is hiding something from him and sets out to uncover the stranger's secret. But how do you find the truth when your own world is a complete lie?.
