Product details
For collectors and enthusiasts: Erhard Göttlicher illustrates Erich Kästner's "The 13 Months." Erich Kästner's poem cycle "The Thirteen Months" includes twelve poems representing the months of the year and one for the thirteenth month, the month of wishes. The nationally and internationally awarded artist Erhard Göttlicher has transformed them into a series of images that connect the passage of the year with the stages of human life. The January image depicts a six-year-old child, the man on the beach in July is already in his mid-forties, and the Santa Claus in December is an elderly man. Above all shines the paradise of the thirteenth month: the image of two lovers in blooming nature. A congenial poem cycle realized in full-page illustrations, presented in a slipcase with a linen cover.
