Padde is a myna, a talking bird. His story takes him from his native jungle across the sea to Schulte's pet shop. From then on, chaos ensues, as Padde roars like a tiger and curses like a sailor. Before the wild bird scares off the customers, Mr. Schulte gives him to the Hagenbeck Zoo. But Padde escapes and falls into the clutches of a dubious animal voice imitator.
