The series "Teaching Sequences for Abitur Reading" contains fully developed materials for the central reading work in upper secondary education. Fourteen detailed lesson units allow for a professionally sound, methodologically diverse, and motivating teaching approach. Each individual lesson is clearly structured: The introductory page places the lesson content in a thematic context, provides background knowledge, and includes supplementary information. This is followed by a tabular lesson progression with didactic and methodological notes. At the center of the lesson is a worksheet that helps to explore the thematic core of the unit. The results of the individual lesson phases are presented clearly in an overview. An exercise sheet for further content work and the review of basic knowledge rounds off the unit.
