This original course playfully guides every child to a secure and clean pencil grip. Concentration and imagination are also required here, as word images are hidden behind the Chinese characters. Accompanied by Zhang and Yamei, two little Chinese characters, children gain insight into a culture that is unfamiliar to them. To internalize and remember a character, students first create images based on their own ideas, which they incorporate into the characters. They then practice accurately reproducing the shapes, recognizing them among similar-looking ones, and finally even finding suitable translations for compound characters. This requires a lot of imagination, a high level of concentration, and trains fine motor skills. The templates are excellent for differentiated instruction.
