This workbook provides materials that address pressing moral and ethical questions and their assessment by Christians, Jews, and Muslims. A total of seven engaging topics are covered, such as contraception, abortion, and the death penalty. For most of the questions, there are official statements from the mentioned religions. These are intended to offer students helpful guidance and encourage discussion. Each topic is briefly introduced, followed by selected texts from the Catholic and Protestant Churches, as well as from Judaism and Islam, which students will compare and work on through very hands-on tasks. In a second step, students will apply their newly acquired knowledge to specific cases. The topics of this volume include contraception, prenatal diagnostics, and abortion.
