Even if children don't always enjoy it, they can't avoid it: spelling must be practiced repeatedly in elementary school! But how can we motivate students? Use the materials in this volume, which combines exercises on the spelling phenomena of the German language with texts from the students' everyday lives. This way, children's interest is directed towards the content of the texts while their knowledge of spelling grows unconsciously. The work is done in two steps: First, children train individual spelling phenomena with engaging exercises and a dictation text that considers various new dictation formats. Then, students correct error texts, practicing the review of a written text.
