Even though children may not always enjoy it, they cannot escape it: spelling must be practiced repeatedly in elementary school! But how can you motivate your students? Use the materials from this volume, which combines exercises on the spelling phenomena of the German language with texts from the students' everyday lives. This way, the children's interest is directed towards the content of the texts while their knowledge of spelling increases unconsciously. The work is done in two steps: First, the children train individual spelling phenomena using engaging exercises and a dictation text that incorporates various new dictation formats. Then, the students correct error texts, practicing the review of a written text.
