The Parisian psychoanalyst Dr. Faber has an unconventional patient: the photographer Nathalia has been in a deep crisis since her last photo. Day after day, she watches her busy neighbors and wonders: how do they manage their lives? Instead of talking about herself, she prefers to share their stories with the doctor. They all revolve around how adversity can make us inventive and serve as a springboard to a better life, especially when we are not alone. Through her storytelling, Nathalia actually holds the key to healing in her hands. Late in the process, the doctor begins to suspect why she really comes to him and why her crisis might be connected to his own.
