Uncannily fantastic Weimar in the year 1805. The Brothers Grimm pay a visit to Schiller, only to find him gravely ill. Awkwardly, they present him with the medicine that Goethe had given them. The ailing poet entrusts them with his last manuscript - but shortly thereafter, this precious item is stolen from them. Against their will, they become entangled in a dark conspiracy involving Goethe, a strange countess, a secret lodge, and exotic narcotics. Meyer's strength lies in his atmospherically rich widescreen panoramas.
