After a barbecue party at the Masons' property in Oxford, Daisy, their eight-year-old daughter, has gone missing. The police question party guests, neighbors, and classmates. Everyone seems suspicious, but there is no trace of the girl anywhere. Daisy's family situation, which appears so orderly on the surface, turns out to be desolate and troubled.
