The task for each control system is nearly the same. In addition to the description of the control system, a logic diagram, a truth table, a circuit diagram, and a GRAFCET plan must be created. Furthermore, for some tasks, the corresponding state-step diagram needs to be developed. In-depth questions either prepare for the specifics of the respective control system or enhance understanding. Besides working on the workbook, the control systems should ideally be simulated using a simulation program on a PC. For setting up the control systems in the lab, components for a two-cylinder control system are sufficient.
