This book aims to provide application examples for descriptive statistics, illustrate solution paths, clarify the content of the formulas used, and point out the risks of potential fallacies where appropriate. It particularly focuses on those analytical methods that, based on experience, many students struggle with during their first semesters. Since the fundamental formulas and definitions are usually briefly repeated and explained in the solution proposals, and many tasks have a sample character, this collection of exercises is also well-suited for self-study and as a supplementary resource to other textbooks on descriptive statistics.
