The significance of computers in education and their use in individualized, differentiated teaching, especially in primary education, is currently a major concern of media education. This medium offers students a great opportunity to document, accompany, and reflect on their learning process. In private use, the e-portfolio can play a useful role in collecting and supporting individual developmental steps and life phases. The use of e-portfolios in teaching is gaining increasing importance in the context of self-directed and competency-based learning. The added value that portfolios provide as a learning tool through the documentation, reflection, and presentation of content has been documented for some time. With the digitization into e-portfolios, the portfolio concept seems to be finding its way into all types of schools.
