Product details

Blake Snyder is considered one of the most influential screenwriters in Hollywood. Blake Snyder (1957-2009) entered the family business at the age of eight, working for his father, television producer and Emmy winner Ken Snyder. He began his writing career on the Disney children's series Kids Incorporated, but after thirteen episodes, he decided to dedicate himself full-time to screenwriting. It wasn't long before a trade magazine noted that Blake had become one of the most successful freelance screenwriters in Hollywood. Throughout his career, Blake Snyder sold many original screenplays to major studios, with two being million-dollar deals, and two of his books were produced. Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, Third Grade, and Nuclear Family went to Universal, Poker Night, Drips, Mac Millionaire, and Herbie Comes Home went to Disney, How I Joined the CIA and Big, Ugly Baby! went to Fox Family TV, and Alienators went to Total Film Group. After Save the Cat! became a bestseller, Blake Snyder led workshops and seminars for screenwriters and other film professionals at various universities.
