Current brand communication is increasingly advancing towards real-digital narratives. The trend of storytelling plays a significant role in this, as does the way of communication in times of complete digitization. Especially at trade fairs, personal conversations still stand out as an essential component of every appearance. In this edition of the trade fair design yearbook, the authors present some successful examples of transmedia storytelling, placing particular emphasis not only on the skillful use of the communication tools employed but also on the excellent design of the overall presentation, which can provide both communicative and informative added value for exhibitors as well as an emotional experience for visitors.
