This is the first textbook from a series of videos by Master Wu Runjin. This book is designed as a textbook. We assume that Qigong is best learned from a competent Qigong master. Videos and books are suitable and sometimes necessary tools in this learning process. This companion book can be used to read up on details of the exercises that are not clearly presented in Video 1. The functions of the exercises and the backgrounds of the respective Qigong family can also be conveyed in more detail in a book. This book can also be used without the video. With the four-color photos, a very high degree of clarity has already been achieved. We have described the exercises in the characteristic three-part structure of Qigong - breathing, movement, and concentration task. The exercises are described in such a way that they can be followed from beginning to end.
