This book aims to activate one's curiosity and provides an overview of the various application areas of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). All authors draw their knowledge from the tradition of TCM, but in recent years, they have also developed their own ideas in practice, in line with the questioning European spirit that often recognizes and implements new connections relevant to everyday European life. The theory of the Five Elements seeks to describe reality and find an order within chaos, which is not merely linear and intellectual but corresponds to a systemic, cyclical way of thinking and acting.
