Hello, I am Bakabu. I am an earwig and live in the Singeland in the little village of Hornhausen. I love nothing more than music. However, music often brings with it some pretty exciting adventures.

In the new adventure &bdquo,Bakabu and the Fire Volcano&ldquo, Hornhausen is threatened by a dangerous volcano. Bakabu and his friends have to get away. They quickly pack up the essentials and set off on an adventurous journey across the Pacific Ocean. After a long journey, they land on an unknown island where they are welcomed by strange creatures. But they soon find something they all have in common: Music. And that also helps against the evil dreams that haunt Bakabu and his friends &hellip,

The book is especially aimed at refugee children from Ukraine. It was developed together with a psychotherapist and is bilingual German-Ukrainian. The story aims to show children that it is normal to be afraid, that others feel the same way and what can help them to get better. There are two new Bakabu songs that can be downloaded via QR code in German and Ukrainian. The book version of the whole story is also available in German and Ukrainian via QR code.

Bakabu is a familiar figure in kindergarten, pre-school and primary school. The book on the topic of flight is therefore an ideal support for professionals in talking to children about this topic and easing their fears.
