During firefighting operations, firefighters discover a body in the basement of an abandoned house on a stormy, rainy night. It quickly becomes clear that it cannot be a tragic accident. The victim shows signs of fall injuries, as well as scratches on the neck, bruises, and contusions. Bloody grooves on the walls reveal that they fought desperately for their life. Liv Lammers and her colleagues from the Flensburg Criminal Police soon have a first lead, but a new murder casts everything in a completely different light. Beneath the shiny surface of the Sylt high society, abysses open up - as do those within the police. An unknown person plants evidence to mislead Liv's investigation.
