The book "Fascination Junghans" focuses on the wristwatches of the Black Forest traditional company Junghans from the 1920s to the 1990s. As the largest watch manufacturer in the world at one point and the third-largest manufacturer of wristwatch chronometers in the 1960s, Junghans produced an enormous variety of timepieces for the wrist. In his book, the author Martin Fischer explains the unique features of the individual movements, with an emphasis on the mechanical wristwatches from Schramberg. In addition to a nearly complete listing of the movements and their illustrations, background information on the technology, collaborations with other companies, and various prototypes are presented.
