When Moritz Buchmann is called to a car accident, he has no idea that the golden autumn days he spends in the Bavarian Forest will soon be drenched in blood. The charred body of the Romanian managing director of Green Mountain Electronics, based in Kirchbach, is just the beginning of a series of mysterious murders that will instill fear and terror in the region along the Regen River. Moritz and his colleagues are drawn into a whirlwind of violence and must realize that murder is not the worst of all crimes.
