Product details
The Wittelsbach family, with over 730 years of rule, is one of the oldest noble families in Germany. They produced dukes of Bavaria, Hungary, Brandenburg, Tyrol, Holland, and Hainaut, as well as electors of Bavaria and Cologne. After the end of the monarchy in 1918, the Free State of Bavaria was established and incorporated into the newly founded Federal Republic in 1945. The agriculturally shaped Bavaria transformed into an industrial stronghold.
