Product details
Ferdinand I (1503 - 1564) was Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire from 1558 to 1564. Alfred Kohler's biography makes it clear that Ferdinand I, who spent a long time in the shadow of his brother Charles V, significantly influenced and shaped developments throughout the empire and thus also in Germany. Ferdinand I is considered one of the founders of the later Danube Monarchy and is therefore one of the most important Habsburg rulers of modern times.
