Product details

The ZETEMATA is a series of monographs in classical studies. It was founded in 1951 by Erich Burck and Hans Diller with the work "Suetonius and Ancient Biography" by Wolf Steidle. Since its inception, the series has been published by C.H. Beck in Munich. Today, it is edited by Jonas Grethlein (Heidelberg), Martin Korenjak (Innsbruck), and Hans-Ulrich Wiemer (Erlangen) in collaboration with Thomas Baier (Würzburg) and Dieter Timpe (Würzburg). The thematic scope of ZETEMATA encompasses the history and literature of Greco-Roman antiquity. The publication languages in ZETEMATA include German, as well as English, French, and Italian. To date, 151 volumes have been published in the series, with more in preparation. The majority of the volumes are still available.
