About the Work

Real estate development law holds significant economic importance in practice. A large portion of construction projects in Germany is still carried out by developers. The resulting legal relationships extend beyond the relationship between the developer and the buyer to include those among construction companies, financing banks, and real estate agents. This work provides fundamental explanations of the various acquisition models in the real estate sector and the financing issues addressed by banks, presenting the different contract forms according to the construction objects, with numerous directly usable templates enhancing practical utility. Additionally, it describes how to respond to disruptions in the contractual relationship. Another focus is on insolvency law and how to handle the insolvency of one of the parties involved.
