Eike Christian Hirsch once again entertains readers with wonderful observations about the quirks and peculiarities of the new German language. Instead of saying "daher," we now say "von daher," and instead of "Regeln," we use "Regularien," to make everything sound a bit more pompous, but in the end, or rather, "letztendlich," it doesn't really matter. But what are we to think of a "summit meeting of renewable raw material experts" or "specialists for free-range eggs"?.
