In practice, there is a significant demand for a comprehensive presentation of English-language purchase agreements under German law, complete with variations, as these contracts are often concluded with the involvement of non-German-speaking parties who need to have the legal framework and the contract itself explained and made accessible to them. Additionally, transactions under German law frequently involve non-German-speaking advisors, which means that commercial legal practice is increasingly reliant on contracts in English. This handbook presents the content of the English contractual provisions, their meaning and purpose, the legal foundations, individual important legal questions, and typical case issues in detail, all explained in German.
