Product details

The monograph series "Munich Contributions to Prehistory and Early History" was founded in 1950 by Joachim Werner at the University of Munich and has been published by the Bavarian Academy of Sciences since 1964. So far, 63 volumes have been released. They publish and evaluate significant archaeological finds, art historical objects, and extensively excavated sites in Central and Eastern Europe from the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages. Today, the focus is on the Alpine region and the adjacent areas from the Iron Age to the Early Middle Ages.
