About the Work

A few years ago, a new version of the Turkish Civil Code came into effect, replacing the Turkish Civil Code of 1926. This was followed by new versions of the Turkish Criminal Procedure Code in 2004, the Turkish Penal Code in 2005, the Turkish Code of Civil Procedure, and the Turkish Commercial Code in 2011. The corresponding references to the legal paragraphs have been updated. In addition to the new legal terminology, the old terminology has been retained, which is still partly a part of everyday legal language.
