About the Work

The book provides an overview of the structure and responsibilities of municipalities and their financing. Following an analysis of the current situation in cities, districts, and communities, the foundations of municipal politics and administration are presented: The term "municipality" is defined along with its distinction from states and the federal government, as well as from other self-governing bodies.
