About the Work The new publication addresses the necessary content and international legal foundations of a stable world of states. To this end, the book makes a connection to strategic studies, which have long had a rather meager existence in Europe and have only recently begun to experience a certain resurgence. The focus of the presentation is on the potential contribution of the current international legal order to ensuring security and stability at both global and regional levels. The text links international law theory with theories of international relations. In the field of political science, several currents compete, heavily influenced by American approaches (neorealism and neoliberalism), alongside a solidarity-cosmopolitan vision inspired by global governance in the interest of international values.
