Tonia Rambausek examines the facilitating and hindering conditions for the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, particularly regarding the self-determined living of disabled individuals in Germany. The focus is primarily on the legal, political, and social conditions under which disabled people can mobilize and assert their rights. The theoretical findings are verified through a quantitative study conducted among individuals with significant mobility impairments in Hesse.
