Treffpunkt Beruf can be used in addition to Berliner Platz 2 and 3 NEU, but can also be used independently of the textbook. Treffpunkt Beruf practices important skills for professional life:

• Speaking in monologue (e.g., presenting something, leaving messages on the answering machine, etc.)
• Speaking in dialogue (e.g., team meetings, consultations and appointments, conversations with superiors, telephone calls, etc.)
• Listening (e.g., announcements, orders, instructions, responsibilities, etc.; understanding core statements, recognizing registers, etc.)
• Writing for oneself (e.g., keywords) or for others (e.g., notes, emails, letters, SMS, forms, minutes, cards, CVs, applications, etc.)
• Reading (e.g., understanding notes, minutes, instructions, forms, employment contracts and product descriptions, deciphering job advertisements, etc.)
• Vocabulary relating to concrete situations.
