Nicolas is 14, leads a carefree life, has good grades in school, and really cool parents. One day, his father unexpectedly comes home earlier than usual and reacts unusually aggressively when Nicolas asks him how he is doing. Nicolas is confused. He only notices that his father is limping on his left leg and that his father's car has a big dent. The next day, Nicolas learns at school about a shootout and a hit-and-run. With horror, he puts two and two together.
