Mental disorders occur more frequently in learners with intellectual disabilities than in non-disabled children and adolescents; in the context of inclusion, more mainstream schools are also affected. This results in complex challenges, such as: how do mental disorders manifest themselves? How can lessons be developed and relationships be formed? Which cooperation partners offer support? What is the significance of psychotropic drugs? In view of these questions, interdisciplinary solutions with an individual approach are needed, which the authors present in this anthology.
