The report "Benchmarking Germany" assesses Germany's economic and social position in an international comparison. It focuses on the development of the labor market and the policy areas that significantly influence employment dynamics. The aim of this report is to identify strengths and weaknesses and to seek practically implementable reform approaches. Benchmarking Germany, the first of its kind, was developed in close collaboration with the Benchmarking working group of the Alliance for Work. It is based on a comprehensive collection of internationally comparable data as well as leading relevant literature, and it presents the data recognized by the stakeholders in a compact and easily accessible compendium format.
