Product details
A diary from the socialist late antiquity, when Franz Josef Strauss ruled Bavaria and Helmut Kohl became the Chancellor of West Germany. And when H.M. Enzensberger, together with Gaston Salvatore, founded a famous, ephemeral magazine project called "Transatlantik," in whose Munich editorial office Michael Rutschky began his career as a public intellectual. Created between 1981 and 1984, these records tell several stories. Not only the one of Michael Rutschky and his wife Katharina, along with unknown and quite well-known people amidst the landscape between Isarnacktstrand, northern Hesse, and West Berlin. Here, one can see how dreams, daydreams, and obsessive introspection formed a climate that was both creative and entertaining for critical minds.
