The "Höhner" look back on 50 years of band history. Founded in 1972 under the name "Ne Höhnerhoff" as a Cologne dialect and carnival band, the initially chicken-costumed Cologne originals brought joy to stages and session halls. Today, the "Höhner" are part of the cultural fabric of the Rhine metropolis - like the Cathedral, the Carnival, and Kölsch beer. Known throughout Germany and having become a trademark of Cologne with hits like "Viva Colonia" and "Wenn nicht jetzt, wann dann?", their music is shaped by a sense of home, zest for life, and a love for carnival and sports.
